About Blue Health Vision

Our history

Blue Health Vision (BHV) is part of a Dutch health consortium that applies a unique molecular technology interacting with strongly conserved biochemical mechanisms to improve health in animals, humans, and plants.

At Animal Health Vision (AHV), a unique molecule (QQ2) was discovered that significantly improved longevity in livestock, reduced the need for antibiotics, and enhanced overall animal health. The fundamental biochemical mechanism behind QQ2’s effectiveness sparked the ambition to explore its benefits beyond animal health, leading to initial studies in aquaculture.

The first results demonstrated that AHV’s unique molecular technology has strong potential to support the health and performance of aquatic species. These promising outcomes led to the development of Blue Health Vision, focused on applying QQ2 technology within aquaculture.

Blue Health Vision’s solutions apply the unique QQ2 molecule to improve the welfare of aquatic animals throughout their production cycles and help them cope with common production challenges. In recent years, this technology has proven effective across a range of aquaculture environments, strengthening the resilience of aquatic species against various stressors. By supporting the immune system and optimizing biological balance, BHV helps ensure that energy is directed toward growth and performance rather than being lost to stress responses.
